Unlike other guesthouses in the Biebrza region, Zagroda Kuwasy is the only venue located far away from the town in the genuine countryside. However, the access path to our premises is comfortable, even in wintertime.

Accomodation - Zagroda Kuwasy - Biebrza/Rajgrod

We can host up to 50 people in our spatial guest rooms, which smell of fresh timber and feature rather unsophisticated, yet nice decor made out of hand-made rugs, tapestries and other pieces of local folk handicraft:
5 single rooms
15 double rooms
2 triple rooms
2 two-chamber apartments
1 double room for disabled people.
Each room has got a separate and neat bathroom with shower and WC. Eleven rooms have loggias with separate entrances.
Single rooms are furnished with double beds of 1.4 m width

Facilities - Zagroda Kuwasy - Biebrza/Rajgrod

Our ground premises include 10 ha of land in total. Mostly, they comprise extensive green meadows stretching out along the Jerzgnia river valley, where you will come across not only our horses, but also deer, elks and cranes nesting in the neighbouring forest. All these species can be watched from the timber look-out.

Our three ponds: Konski, Trzcinowy and Zabi Raj are absolutely superb, no matter if it comes to swimming or angling. In the coming future we are planning to open a Russian bath upon the biggest pond - it will be a sauna heated by wooden planks.

Dining - Zagroda Kuwasy - Biebrza/Rajgrod

Our modern kitchen is the venue where we prepare our dishes, in keeping with complex recipes and always using fresh ingredients. Hence, please do not feel surprised if the waiter presents you with just 2-3 options to choose from (including, at least, one vegetarian meal) instead of a large booklet menu.

Since we typically purchase our foodstuffs from local farmers in the neighbourhood, instead of restocking them at supermarkets, our vegetable and fruit preserves, eggs, cheese and cold-cuts are characterised by unique and remarkable taste.

Apart from traditional Biebrza’s fresh-water fish dishes, which have been proclaimed our speciality, we do our best to promote the local cuisine of Podlasie and Polish borderland regions, as well as the traditional Polish cuisine overall.

In the summer, we also organise BBQ parties on the building’s terrace.

Meeting - Zagroda Kuwasy - Biebrza/Rajgrod

Conference Room – the total area of 65 sq.m, 44 places at 12 tables, complete audio and VCR equipment.

The Nestors’ Chamber - a cosy parlour suitable for important discussions over a glass of brandy or a cup of coffee; 32 sq.m, a stove, a cushy sofa, armchairs and an oval table.

The Grand Fireplace Chamber - 120 sq.m, fireplace; here you may take part in physical exercise, our clay pottery classes, banquets or dance parties.

The beautiful, yet often forbidding swamps can pose a perfect challenge for the participants of survival or team-building trips. Undoubtedly, the canoeing trip down the unpredictable Jegrznia river is a good option to consider.

Those of you who feel less at ease when posed face-to-face against wildlife may also choose from among less arduous group exercise options i.e. cycling, chaise or sleigh trips, bonfires.
